Closing The Grid-Network service

Thank you for using KMPlayer. We have every desire to address your needs and provide the best solution available to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Since we will remove the AlbumArt, the Grid-Network service is no longer needed and you will be not able to see the Grid-Network service from your installer.
Therefore, you can start to experience lighter and faster KMPlayer, 3.8 version from this coming January 28th, 2014.

Are the service apps like kpop100, everyonTV, etc gone?

I don't see them and can't find them. All I have is that bar and I see no link from it to any of them. Whenever I google it, I get stuff on people not liking them and trying to remove them, but I love them and they were really the only reasons I liked KMPlayer

Therefore, we made KMPlayer lighter and faster by removing the AlbumArt service. You can now download our new 3.8 version, which is lighter and faster.

the video isn't showing in the window

as you can see the preview is showing that the video is working but it isn't coming in the window and that happens for all the videos not only one of them

KMP 3.8 Bug

When playing music, the mouse wheel no longer changes the volume up or down. There are issues with dragging and dropping tracks or videos to the player and it's a real pain. Have to close KMP and reopen it again. Makes no difference if it's allowed in the preferences. Also, what happened to this player mode in 3.8?

In the new version of kmp,
when start itself it open a IE windows too who want to go at :

"res://ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff.htm -#http://player.kmpmedia.net/kmp_plus/platform/view/main"

So damn irritating,
isn't a fix yet?

Dvd Problems

I have a couple of problems with the dvd feature of the program

1.) I can't switch between 2 audio tracks on the dvd

2.) I can't click to different points on the progress bar.

Startup, Screenshot & MP4/MKV Playing Error

Hi Team,

1) Startup Error

I have installed KM Player Latest Version 3.8 now. But now, when i open KM Player it shows an error box - " The Requested Resource is in Use". I tried uninstalling and installing two three times but the same is happening when try to open KMP.

whats the matter with this error.?

2) Screenshot Error

Sometimes when i try to take screenshot it says " Impossible to work at Super Speed mode, or there is no KMP transform filter".

Why is this happening sometimes.?
What do i need to do to clear it out.?

3) MP4/MKV Playing Error

When i play some mp4/MKV files it lacks flawing smooth ie. seeking forward and reverse is stuck for sometime. After a while it starts playing/able to use mouse cursor.

Why is this delay in mp4/MKV files when seeking F&R.?
What can i do to overcome this hectic mess.?

How to get rid of ads on the right hand side of the player?

I understand that KPlayer has to make money somehow, but the ads or featured videos or whatever that show up on the right hand side of the player EVERY time it opens is incredibly annoying. I would happily pay for KMPlayer, but that doesn't even seem to be an option?

I tried blocking the program in Windows Firewall, but now every time I open KMPlayer it opens an Internet Explorer window with this address:

http://player.kmpmedia.net/kmp_plus/platform/view/main

Is there a way to get rid of the ads on the right hand side of the player when it opens?

I'd like to know if it's possible to capture the video output resulting from playing a 3d video (up/down) transformed to be displayed as Red/Cyan - Dubois (Right click->3D Screen Controls -> Red/Cyan - Dubois.)

I try Silent Install KMPlayer 3.8.0.117 with (/S or /S /D) switch. but no silent install and show all install screen. there is another switch or way?
