KMP 3.8

I was waiting for this release, because I was disappointed from the 3.7 and because the 3.6 that I use have problems with mkv/mp4 files on my old PC (KMP hangs if I move forward or backward... move through mkv/mp4 movies is very uncomfortable. I use Mix Overlay for video rendering).

Unfortunately I still have a serious problem with my skin (alexi_WP11): even when I play a video file (not in full screen) KMP shows a transparent empty area on the right, inside the panel where the video is played. It is the same empty area that opens next to the new Album Art few seconds after I open KMP.

Is there a way to solve the problem?

i want to decrease or increase kmplayer speed. i am able to increase or decrease percentage but it is not affecting the play. is there any setting i am missing. i am using latest kmplayer version

Playing the next file

Hi

I am not sure if i can explain this correctly but I'll try my best and hope anyone can help me with this issue....

Almost every time I play the next file (page down) KMP goes back the main....page thingy..the one with the tiles ...album art and apps instead of playing the next file and I am forced to press the play button again for it to start playback of the next file.

this suddenly happened without me changing any settings and updating to KMP 3.8 didn't fix it, not sure why it didn't auto update. also I am trying to fix this without doing a settings reset since I changed many settings and I am not sure if I can change them again after a reset. I'll do a reset if its the only way to fix it.

"open all files in folder" is enabled.

I dont know how I can show you my settings.....tell me how.

jamming problem in video stream

Hello !

I have been using KMPlayer lately for 3d videos. However, i am facing jamming and stopages in the video stream. It is probably because my display adapter or RAM is not enough for these kind of streams. Does anyone have any idea or a suggestion as a solution which has been experienced? My configuration as below:

NVidia Screen Adapter GeForce G 105M 512 MB
Core Duo CPU 2,2 GHZ
Windows Vista 32 Bit
4 GB RAM

Disabling advertaisement panes in latest version of KMP

Latest version of KMP did not give 'Classic view' even after I did the required post install configuration. Same post install steps used to give me 'Classic view' in previous versions of KMP.

Worst, KMP showed two panes: left one had a pizza advertisement, right one had 'League of Legends' stuff. None of these are needed for playing MP3 files.

I enable FLASH only when needed. I know FLASH is not needed for playing mp3 files, generic video files, so I do not like KMP requiring me to install FLASH.

Solution
Go to 'Windows Firewall' settings and create a rule to block KMP.exe. After this I got 'Classic view' and there was no Pizza ad. and League of Legends stuff. Good old KMP started working :-)

access violation at address in module 'kmplayer.exe'. read of address

os: windows 7 x64 ultimate
kmplayer 3.8.0.117

after i started kmplayer, on any action i`m trying to perform, i`m getting this message with different adderesses, depending on action i`m executing.

i`ve read the 'sticky' thread;
unfortunately, pressing 'ctrl' button when kmplayer window is active,
leads to exception too(
as well as:
- pressing 'alt' button
- pressing 'shift' button
- scrolling mouse wheel
- few others

so, i can`t post something that i ought to see when pressing ctrl+tab;

nevertheless, this problem takes place despite of file type/codec that is currently played or exists in a playlist.

with latest kmplayer version, classic interface is introduced. but whenever kmplayer is initiated, internet explorer window is getting opened.

how to prevent internet explorer from being opening.

Extension of main window to the right?

hello folks;
Every time I play any video with KMP, the KMP extend the main window to the right like a browser with address bar, home tab and "league of legends" tab.

So simply, What is this? and how to disable? it's very annoying...:(

No audio

I'm overseas and I'm using my hosts' old and underpowered computer. I just downloaded version 3.8 and while it displays the video portion of the .flv I want to watch, it doesn't produce the audio.

I first tried using another video player, but because of the computer'simitations, it displayed the video in herky jerky fashion. However, it did produce the audio without a problem.

KMPlayer is better able to handle the video, but, as I said, it does so silently.

The volume setting is at 100% and nothing happened to the speakers inbetween playing the file with the first video player and playing it with KMPlayer.

The Nut Job looks fantastic. Try to ignore the trailer, and if possible, the inconsistent soundtrack, too. Pay attention to the subtle nod to the 50's, present in all the background details: The rooms, the cars, the human characters. It looks great. The attention to visual detail is spot on. So kudos to the people in charge of making this look the way it does.

The story itself has promise: A nut heist that runs concurrently with a bank heist, the squirrel storyline paralleling the human one. As you can imagine, there are cheap jokes and nut puns a plenty, but at least the younger children in the theatre will be entertained. Any flaws present in the Nut Job have nothing to do with the way it looks. And if anything, that's what saves it.

hi.. i really love to use kmplayer...
i want to ask developer team to create a lite version based on new version..
lite version that doesnt have albumart at the right side...sometimes when i play music video...when the next video starting to play and it stop suddenly.then album art pop out on the screen even i disable the album art..it really disturbed me..also the right side albumart...

I try Silent Install KMPlayer 3.8.0.117 with (/S or /S /D) switch. but no silent install and show all install screen. there is another switch or way?
