I understand that those presets change certain settings including the video render but what do the numbers 1Ghz or 3Ghz in the brackets behind the presets mean? I like how little resources the player needs with the speed presets and was wondering if there's a way to further decrease at the cost of quality. I found out that there's a big difference between the video renders and for example the VMR7 has a really good performance. The DirectDraw RGB Surface render seems to perform even better but I'm assuming because of the way it works it doesn't allow multiple videos at once?
So what I would like to know is if there are ways to increase the performance even when it means big quality loss. I don't know if those exist but maybe there's plugin video renders that need even less resources and ram etc. I did already try the oversampling feature set to really low resolution but that didn't have a big enough effect for it to be worth it
