I want to use Kmp Connect but so many problems...

Okay I reinstalled deleted trashed everything, just so I could see the little kmp cloud at the top or even the box thing tot he right when you launch kmp.... nothing nothing nothing.. I don't know how to connect my computer to my phone when there isn't a cloud thing.... Help me I have gray hairs because of this.

E.g. time info in tenth of a second or hundredth of a second

my KM Player wont't show video on some .mkv files, only audio

I don't know what is the problem, I can play the same file without a problem with VLC media player, but KM Player is better. I don't have any idea what the problem is. Thank you in advance for any help.

Virus in the Update file

Dear admins and users,
tonight i was asked to update KMplayer.. i did.. it started update from download.com and my antivirus program (Symantec Endpoint Protection) found virus.

Risk: Infostealer.Bucuper

Until now.. I look over the programs that install during KMPlayer as PC tune something and others that are installed without asking me and hard to uninstall. I overlook the info box on the right box.. it is so boring and useless.. and no option to close it for good. And now virus?!

Please fix all the things.. coz KMPlayer is very good player, but these things would kill it

subtitles disappeared

Hi.

My problem is that lately the subtitles are not shown on the screen. One time they are shown, then I watch something a few days later and they are not.
I don't know what I did on my computer in the time between, but since then I cannot make them appear again on KMPlayer (I can on every other one of my video players).
Of course, the Subtitles -> Show Subtitle option is checked. I even tried resetting and reinstalling it, but still no change.

Please help me.

Question About Current Functionality...

Hi everyone,

I used to use KMPlayer regularly, but I found a couple of issues with it. First, it had a tendency to start or stop playback when queuing an additional video file rather than maintaining the pause/play state that was active before the new file was added to the playlist. Second, if playing in the background while a full screen application is running would often cause the program to freeze when trying to transition from the end of one item in the playlist to the beginning of the next item in the playlist. And lastly, I couldn't get it to work with Blu-Ray.

I no longer care about Blu-Ray, as I have a full version of CyberLink PowerDVD. I'm not hugely fond of that program, but it works most of the time, so I'm not worried. But the other issues are a big annoyance to me.

So my question is this: does the latest version (3.9) still have the same problems?

I see no point in downloading and installing the program again if it still has the same issues that drove me elsewhere in the first place.

MadVR Reporting an Error

When I move Kmplayer from one monitor to another, the video freezes and reports Direct3D device failed (80070005). The player itself is still responsive but to resume the video I have to reopen the video. If I leave it to play on one monitor without moving it, there appears to be no problem.

I never had this problem before but I have just reformatted and did a clean install for everything. I tested this with another video player (MPC-HC) and it appears to work fine. I'm wondering what could be the issue? Kmplayer or MadVR? Perhaps there's a setting that can fix this issue?

KM Player Crash after opening file

Hello,

I am experiencing the following issue:
I open a file(tried with .mp4 and .mkv only), then it plays for around 30 seconds. KM player eventually crashes.

I am also adding the crash report.

OS: Win 8.1 x64
Processor: AMD Athlon x4 750K
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
Graphics: Gainward NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650, 1024MB, GDDR5, 128bit

If I open KMPlayer after few second automaticali crash and close program. If I click on the film play few second with same result.
Maybe it is related with new Adobe Flash Player update 14.0.0.179.

The KMPlayer has stopped working

I am user of KMPlayer last few years, and until now I have had no problem. Today, after windows and flash updates, when I tried to open player, after 15-20 second i got this message: "The KMPlayer has stopped working". I tried to update KMPlayer to the newest version without results. Then I installed version from January 2014 and everything works fine.

I checked computer for viruses and malwares and everything is fine.

Can you help me with this?

Hi guys

Thank you so much for this wonderful application it's my number 1. But unfortunately I have this problem from nowhere :( the problem is that the video stop suddenly after a minute or 2 and that's strange because it was fantastic yesterday and I didn't change anything.

I'm using windows 8.1 and I don't know what to do. Besides there's something bothering me which is the video will start the first 5 seconds fast and then go slowly to catch the audio.

I'm really sorry for asking you to much but I search in the Internet and no answer. PLEASE HELP ME

Crashing every few minutes

Latest version
Even if you leave it open it just crashes itself.
Did the reset everything on laptop.. still crashes
did no changes on desktop.. crashes too

8GIG i7 fresh reboot... note windows did an update last night... might be conflickting wwith that.


also your validation question should ask what is the 5th ITEM to avoid confusion.

Automatic subtitle encoding(Charset) detection

On existing KMplayer, if the subtitle is not matching Native Windows Region, I have to go to "Preference"-Subtitle-Font Style" to set the correct Charset for it to display properly(However, this is broken since version 3.9.0.121). Suggest to make the player detect the subtitle encoding automatically. Another soft player "SPlayer" can recognize subtitle in every language without change anything.

I believe KMPlayer can do that as well. Wish to see this functionality in near future.

KM Player changed all my mp3 file types and now Spybot has to check them

I just installed the latest KM Player. First, it crashes everytime I try to start it, so it's unusable. But most importantly, it changed all my mp3 files (in the podcast directory anyways) to type "kmplayer.mp3" . I don't know what exactly that means, but when I try to start up a podcast file from another player (VLC), SpyBot opens up and sits there wanting to check the mp3 file before it will let it play.

I want to stop this SpyBot check, and I want to change all the podcast files back to plain ".mp3" files. I've uninstalled KM Player, but these problems still persists.

Can someone help me with this...
